Has anyone else been having problems getting their files to load onto the submission page?? I've been trying to put this up since Thursday, and I always gave up because 20 minutes after I chose the file, nothing had happened. Jesus. I don't know if it's my internet or DA or what, but it's hella annoying.

Anyway.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MARI!!!!

My buddy Mari's birthday was on Wednesday Jan 2. A few weeks ago she put up a picture of herself on her MySpace wearing basically this outfit, and I thought "I HAVE TO DRAW THAT." Then I remembered her birthday was coming up, and drew it as a gift. I hope you like it Mari-kins!!!

On the pic itself: I'm actually very pleased with this, although the scan doesn't look nearly as good as the original. I may re-scan this when I get to school. And I don't know why I gave her sai.... but c'mon, who doesn't love a weaponed schoolgirl? :D

edit: Rescanned and fixed the crappy grainy background and stuff. Also made it not so unbearably huge.

actually the concept is great but the necks a lil long n the arms are kinda short plus ...what girl has a barbie waist?! :O_o: do like the hair though nice touch of bangs an eye covered is always cute :nod:

You'd be surprised at how many girls have little bitty waistlines... maybe I exaggerated it a bit for sex appeal, the same way I made her neck a touch longer, but I don't think she looks like a Barbie. Barbie would be like, DD boobs, a waist the size of her wrist and big hips.

So yeah. I think it's fine.

sorry didnt mean to sound harsh perhaps i went a lil simon for the sake of being brief. my apologies. ^^;

dont get me wrong waist line like that IS sexy! its just...well a tad formularized :shrug: but yeah true youre not drawing for realism ^^;

im also lovin the fishnets n pigtails...do u just pick traits at random or were u inspired? :) :hug:
