Prize drawing for ~Arisa01, for winning second place in the latest ~inuxkagome-fans contest. Congratulations again and thanks for being so patient with me, I hope it's worth it.
I'm also using this as my process drawing for Jessica's library anime thing, so for anyone who's interested in how I go from flat colors to finished drawing, I'll be posting the process pics in Scraps later. Anyway... On the pic! I'm really pleased with how this turned out, apparently a new sketchbook really helps break a stubborn art block. I wanted to draw Kagome in modern clothes, but something different than usual, so I just kinda started sketching and went with whatever came to me. The skirt/leggings combo was a suggestion from ~ALXDR, thanks hon! Then I decided I wanted to draw Inuyasha in modern clothes too...I thought it was only appropriate that his hoodie be red. And I don't really know why he has the Tetsusaiga with him if he's in modern times, but hey....it's Inuyasha. He's gangsta. I know the picture's kinda grainy, I haven't quite figured out how to take care of that with our new scanner yet. I will eventually... edit: grainy crappiness taken care of.
